Privacy

The short version

You can play everything here without telling the site anything about yourself. There is nothing to sign up for. The only information that reaches a server is what you deliberately send: a name on a leaderboard, a comment, a Boost or Bust, or a message through the requests form.

Kept in your own browser

Games save your progress and high scores locally. The site also keeps a random id used to recognise your vote, the name you last typed, and which way you voted on each game. None of this leaves your device except as described below, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Sent to a server, when you choose to

• Leaderboards. The name you type and your score. A one-way hash of your IP address is stored alongside it, used only to stop one person flooding a board — it cannot be turned back into an address.
• Comments and votes. The text you post, the name you chose (leave it blank and it shows as Anonymous), when you posted, and the same one-way hash of your address for rate limiting.
• The requests form. Your message, and an email address only if you type one — it is there so a reply is possible, and it is used for nothing else.

What the site does not do today

• No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no third-party scripts that follow you. That is a description of the site as it stands on the date above, not a promise about next year — if it ever changes, this page changes first.
• No accounts, no passwords, and no payments — there is nothing to buy.
• Nothing here is sold, rented or handed to anyone for marketing.

Other people's servers

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs and stores the leaderboard, comment and request data described above. Some pages and games load typefaces from Google Fonts, and a couple of games load a graphics library from a public code CDN; requesting a file from those services discloses your IP address to them in the ordinary way any web request does.

Children

Some games here are made for young children. They collect nothing beyond what is listed above, and there is no advertising or profiling anywhere on the site.

Having something removed

Comments and leaderboard entries can be deleted on request, and no proof of identity is needed because none was ever collected — say which comment or score and it goes. Write to [email protected].

If this changes

If the site ever adds advertising or anything that tracks you, this page will say so before it goes live, with the date at the top updated. It is not a document that gets quietly rewritten.
